New emojis. Do you need to hear anything else? Apple just released an iOS update. iOS 11.1 is the first feature update for iOS 11. It adds a couple of new things, starting with dozens of new emojis. Apple already previewed some of the new emojis, but they are now available to everyone. It includes mythical creatures, such as wizards, fairies, mermaids and vampires. There are some new activities, such as rock climbing and curling. You’ll also find new clothing elements just in time for the winter, such as gloves, scarf and trench coat. There are a handful of new animals and some new facial expressions. Exploding head might be my favorite one. Overall, Apple promises 70 new emojis, which makes iOS compatible with Unicode 10.0. Microsoft shows off Windows ‘Sets,’ a tabbed app interface that puts a web browser everywhere

Just a few weeks after the major launch of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Microsoft is already looking towards what’s next as the company tests features that could fundamentally shape how you use web browsers. Today, Microsoft announced a new feature tentatively called “Sets,” a fairly significant retooling of how web browsers and apps operate philosophically in Windows 10. Rather than having Edge users manage a set of browser windows filled with relevant tabs to a particular task, Microsoft wants to build those tabs directly into apps. Let’s say you’re writing up a Word document and you’re needing to research topics online to integrate into it, rather than venturing to a new browser window, you’ll be able to open Edge inside the app with a new tab thanks to “Sets” and get to surfing. 'Sugar daddy' site targeting university students in Paris is removed

An advert for a dating site offering to help students in Paris find a "sugar daddy" to fund their studies has been removed by police. A mobile billboard was advertising the RichMeetBeautiful site in the grounds of Sorbonne University. It featured a couple cuddling with the message to students - "romance, passion and no student loan, go out with a sugar daddy". Since then police have seized the billboard. A tweet from City of Paris official account said it "strongly condemned the shameful advertisement" and would "work with police to make it disappear from our streets". https://twitter.com/Paris/status/923184477320466432 Deputy mayor of Paris, Helene Bidard, said the advert was a form of prostitution.
